Google moves Chinese Search Site to Hong Kong
On January 12, Google and many other U.S companies had been the victims of a sophisticated cyber attack originating from China. Now Google has moved it’s Chinese Servers to Hong Kong. They are offering uncensored search in simplified Chinese.
Google announced that Users visiting Google.cn are now being redirected to Google.com.hk and they have stopped censoring search services—Google Search, Google News, and Google Images—on Google.cn.
Due to the increased load on Google’s Hong Kong servers and the complicated nature of these changes, users may see some slowdown in service or find some products temporarily inaccessible as they switch everything over.
